30th Annual Wine & Herb Event
When: Saturday, May 4, 2024 - Sunday, May 5, 2024

Where: 10 participating wineries on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail
Cost: $95 Couples, $65 Single, $45 Designated Driver, Tickets available here.
Drink. Eat. Garden. Repeat. Indulge in herb-infused dishes and discover the perfect wine pairing for each. This year the herbs are Basil, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cilantro, Cherokee Purple Tomato, Dill, Oregano, Parsley, Rosemary, and Sweet Banana Pepper. Start at one of 10 participating wineries where you’ll receive your souvenir wine glass and first potted herb or vegetable plant. Then travel the trail collecting potted herbs or vegetable plants as you go.
Your ticket is good for BOTH days, so feel free to spread the wineries out over both days or come on just one day. Sunday tends to be a lighter day, so the wineries won’t be as crowded. Which makes for an excellent time to visit for more one-on-one attention and less waiting.

Opening of Collidoscope de la Torre Brothers Retro-Perspective

CMoG’s exhibition opening on May 18th, Collidoscope de la Torre Brothers Retro-Perspective encompasses almost three decades of work in 40 mixed-media glass sculptures. The art of the de la Torre Brothers, like the unique and ever-changing view through a kaleidoscope, employs concepts of time, religion, tradition, regional distinctions, and personal experiences that expand our perceptions of cultural identity.
The Corning Museum of Glass is the first location on the East Coast to host this exhibition, and the de la Torre Brothers will be at the Museum for two weeks in May. The exhibit will be on view in the Contemporary Art + Design Galleries May 18, 2024 - January 5, 2025. Collidoscope: de la Torre Brothers Retro-Perspective is part of a traveling exhibition organized by The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture of the Riverside Art Museum (The Cheech) and curated by Selene Preciado. Support for the national tour has been generously provided by the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Latino.
GlassFest

Join us in downtown Corning for GlassFest, the annual glass and fire arts celebration in America's Crystal City. During this three-day weekend celebration, you’ll discover the city’s rich history of world-class glass production, as you experience live musical performances, glass exhibits, art vendors, mouthwatering food and drinks, and more!
Stroll down historic Market Street for pop-up entertainment, dining, shopping, and family activities. From free yoga in the park and art tours to free family-friendly classes and glass-blowing demonstrations, there’s so much to see.
Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs or a blanket to watch headlining acts at the Rock The Park stage in Riverfront Park. The Friday night headliner is the alternative rock band to emerge from the '90s, Everclear. Help the band celebrate their 34th Anniversary from 8:30–10 PM at Riverfront Park.
Saturday will kick off with the Wineglass 8K Race and the night will end with a not-to-be-missed fireworks display over the Chemung River. The multi-day event ends Sunday with a Memorial Day Tribute on Riverfront Park's Rock The Park Stage. This year's event is not to be missed!
