The Finger Lakes Wine Country community has been working hard over the past year to lessen the spread of COVID-19 in our region, and we will continue to do so, but we need your help.

On June 15, New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that all COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted as 70% of adult New Yorkers have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. While we are all excited for a return to normalcy, please keep in mind that some businesses will still require masks, even for vaccinated individuals. In addition, some businesses may require reservations or have limited capacity during this time of transition.

call ahead.

When planning your visit to the region, it is important you communicate with accommodations, dining establishments, wineries, and any other businesses you plan to visit during your trip. This will provide you with a clear understanding of what to expect so you can enjoy your time in the region. Many of our businesses are requiring reservations for certain experiences. To avoid disappointment or any confusion, visit websites and/or call businesses to understand their requirements for mask wearing, social distancing, and whether reservations are required.

be respectful.

We are all doing our best to keep up with changing guidelines while continuing to offer you the very best experiences possible. At this time, we're asking for your patience, understanding, and kindness as we all continue to adapt to these challenges. Whether it's our community members or fellow visitors, we ask that you show everyone respect.

when in doubt, mask up.

While vaccinated individuals are encouraged to live their lives mask free in many cases, there will be times everyone will be asked to wear a mask. Businesses or attractions will make their policies clear and you will be expected to adhere to their policies without hesitation. When in doubt, simply mask up.

While we continue to navigate these challenging times, we will keep you in the loop. We encourage you to review the additional resources linked below.
