Combine some of our favorite Finger Lakes Wine Country rosés from wineries in our region with some of the best spirits from our region’s distillers in these simply delicious FLX Rosé cocktail recipes to try at home.

 

Rose Wine Cocktails

Cool & Easy Rosé Martini

  • 1 oz Wagner Vineyards Dry Rosé of Cabernet Franc
  • 2 oz Finger Lakes Distilling Vintner’s Vodka
  • Splash of Grapefruit Soda
  • Cucumber for garnish

In a shaker with ice add Rosé and Vodka and shake.

Serve in martini glass and add a splash of grapefruit soda to top off with a cucumber slice for garnish.

 

Strawberry Rosé Refresher

  • 1.5 oz. of Four Fights Distilling Crystal City Vodka
  • .5 oz. of fresh lemon juice
  • .5 oz. of basil simple syrup
  • Top off with Wagner Vineyards Dry Rosé of Cabernet Franc
  • Fresh strawberries

Place 2 strawberries into a drink shaker and muddle. Add vodka, lemon juice, and basil simple syrup.

Pour into a cocktail glass over ice cubes leaving enough room to top off with Rosé.

Garnish the side of your glass with a fresh strawberry.

Basil Simple Syrup Instructions
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of white sugar
  • 1 cup of fresh basil leaves

In a small saucepan add water, sugar, and fresh basil leaves and bring to a boil stirring until the sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute.

After simmering, remove from the heat and let the syrup sit for 30 minutes. Using a strainer for basil leaves, pour the basil simple syrup into a glass container with a lid to let it finish cooling and for easy serving.

Simple syrup stays good for around 30 days with refrigeration.

 

Light & Lovely Rosé Spritzer

  • 1 oz of Bitters
  • 4 oz. of Dr. Konstantin Frank Célèbre Rosé
  • 2 oz of Grapefruit Soda
  • Slice of fresh grapefruit for garnish

In a white wine glass, add ice cubes and pour in bitters, Sparkling Rosé, and grapefruit soda. Mix gently with a stirrer and add a grapefruit slice for garnish.

 

FLX 75 Cocktail  

FLX Rosé 75

  •  1 oz. Finger Lakes Distilling Seneca Drums Gin
  • .5 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • .5 oz simple syrup
  • Dr. Konstantin Frank Célèbre Rosé
  • Lemon slice for garnish

In a shaker with ice, combine gin, lemon juice, and simply syrup and shake.

Pour into a champagne flute and top off with sparkling rose and a lemon slice.

Simple Syrup Instructions
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of white sugar

In a small saucepan add water and sugar and bring to a boil stirring until the sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute.

After simmering, remove from the heat and let the syrup sit for 30 minutes and store in a container easy to seal and serve from.

Simple syrup stays good for around 30 days with refrigeration.

 

Rosé-mary Strawberry Honey Sipper

  • 4 oz. of Goose Watch Winery Pinot Noir Brut Rosé
  • 2 oz of Lemon Lime Soda
  • 2 oz. of Hidden Marsh Distillery Bee Vodka
  • Fresh Strawberries 
  • Fresh Rosemary for Garnish

Place 2 strawberries into a drink shaker and muddle. Add Vodka and Rosé with ice cubes and shake.

Pour into a cocktail glass, top off with lemon lime soda.

Add a sprig of rosemary and a strawberry to the drink for garnish and subtle flavor.
