Before you fly at the glider field stroll down to the National Soaring Museum to view the beautiful, finely-crafted sailplanes that trace the history of motorless flight from its founding right here on Harris Hill in the 1930s to the present day. Watch the gliders take off and land from the air conditioned Schweizer Gallery. See a movie that explains your soaring flight experience. Practice flying with our simulators. Books, sodas, bottled water and souvenirs available in the Windrider Gift Shop.

Be sure to also visit Harris Hill Soaring Corporation, adjacent to the National Soaring Museum, for a glider ride and to watch gliders take off and land.
