Listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Benjamin Patterson Inn is home to the Corning-Painted Post Historical Society. On site are the 1796 Benjamin Patterson Inn, the Wixon Road log cabin c. 1850, the Starr Barn, the 1878 Browntown one-room schoolhouse, and the Cooley blacksmith shop c. 1870 (operational). Off site in Painted Post is the Painted-Post Erwin Depot Museum housed in a restored D, L&W Railroad Depot c. 1881. Admission: $2 Students, $3.50 Seniors, $4 Adults and Group rates.
