Makers of heirloom-quality, handcrafted gardenware. Each unique piece of Goff Creek Pottery is produced by artists Mary Lynn and Robert Good on a potter’s wheel in our New York state studio located at the historic William Goff house (circa 1830). No mass production techniques are ever used. Our specially formulated clay is fired to high temperatures, producing rich colors, an antiqued patina usually seen only on vintage items that have weathered for years, and frost-proof durability that far outlasts terra cotta.
Our premium line of gardenware – inspired by classical architecture and story book gardens – includes flower pots, sculpture, bird baths, tile, finials, and toad houses. Each piece is individually handcrafted in an ages old artisanal manner. We use only traditional wheel throwing and hand-building methods. Each item is an original work of art and no two are exactly the same. While our style is classic, the interpretation is contemporary, charming and often humorous. Sure to be a conversation piece in your garden for years to come, our work is specifically designed to be frost-proof, and has been tested to withstand Zone 5 winters (-10 degrees F) allowing sculpture to be left outdoors to be admired all year long. Now you can enjoy the look of antique terra cotta without the disappointing frailty. These pieces of Goff Creek Pottery that will grace your garden are destined to become family heirlooms.
