Listed on the National Register of Historic Places the Glorious T boasts over 20 buildings ranging in architectural styles from Craftsman to Victorian to Greek Revival. Dating from mid-to-late 19th century, these buildings make up the historic district of Montour Falls, built on a former Seneca village called Queanettquaga, also known as Catherine’s Town. Catherine Montour was a famous Seneca resident before the Sullivan Expedition destroyed the Native American village in 1779. By 1788 European-Americans began to settle Montour Falls, calling it first Havana before adopting the name Montour Falls in 1890.
