Eldridge Park Carousel Preservation Society Inc. works in partnership with the City of Elmira, to maintain and develop the amusement attractions within the park. Providing a fun, family friendly atmosphere the park boasts a historical 1890s Loof Carousel restored to it's former glory. It is one of the fastest carousels still in operation and still has a working brass ring feeder. Other attractions include: The Flying Thunderbirds, Tilt-a-Whirl, Kiddie Boats, Turtle Chasers, Pony Carts, Miniature Train, Paddle Boats, Mark Twain Miniature Golf Course, and Museum. Other features within the park are picnic areas, walking trails, 9 hole disc golf course, dog park, fishing, and sports fields.
