The Chemung County Chamber of Commerce is located in Elmira, NY, the heart of Mark Twain Country, where the American author summered for twenty years, wrote his many classics, and was buried alongside his beloved family. Stop by the Chamber for a plethora of information about the region, which is also famous for being the Soaring Capital of America. Brochures and maps highlighting the variety of arts, culture, accommodations, shopping, cuisine, festivals and outdoor adventures that make Chemung County an incredible place to visit and live are readily available, as are postcards and Twain themed gifts.

Hours of Operation: Regular hours are 8:30 am. to 5 pm, Mon-Fri; From Memorial Day through Labor Day, the Chamber is open from 8:30 am to 5 pm Mon-Thurs and 8:30 am to 3 pm Fri. The Trolley into Twain Country tours depart from the Chemung Valley History Museum hourly from 10 am to 2 pm on Tuesdays through Saturdays in July and August.
