Trick or Treat in the Gaffer District

Dress up in your best Halloween costumes and join us in beautiful historic downtown Corning’s Gaffer District for Trick or Treating in the Gaffer District during the Days of Incandescence. The downtown comes alive from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM with trick or treaters as local businesses offer treats in a family-friendly atmosphere to celebrate Halloween. Keep an eye out for the mysterious "Gathers" from the Legend of the Gathers as they roam amongst the crowd. Join the Gathers in Centerway Square for a telling of the legend dating back to 1880 and how they influenced Corning's role in the invention of Thomas Edison's light bulb.

Be sure to stop by the Centerway Square stage while your trick or treating and enter your costume into the  judged costume contest giving you a chance to show of your amazing costumes and win!

Costume Contest winners will then be announced towards the end of Trick or Treating at around 6:00 PM.
