The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) is deeply connected to the history of road racing in Watkins Glen. As the sanctioning body of the original Watkins Glen Grand Prix in 1948, the SCCA has returned to the historic circuit in many forms since, from regional races to national championship events. The SCCA Majors Super Tour, established in 2012, is the pinnacle of amateur championship racing in the United States, bringing drivers from around the country to compete at one of North America's premier venues. Don't miss this kickoff to the 2019 Watkins Glen International spectator event season.

Watkins Glen International, the birthplace of American Road Racing, is home to over 60 years of motorsports history. Today, the Glen annually hosts the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen, as well as the US Vintage Grand Prix. Watkins Glen International is also home to the Finger Lakes Wine Festival, the largest showcase of New York State wines.
