July Jazz Greats Concert Series

Our first show of the summer offers a rare opportunity to enjoy three sought-after smooth jazz artists together on the same stage!

Keyboardist and composer Brian Simpson albums regularly cross over from jazz to pop to R&B. Simpson initially garnered attention in the 90’s for working with Dave Koz. Since going out on his own as a solo artist, Simpson has released several Top 20 albums and performed with a who’s who of the music industry.

Joining Simpson on the vineyard stage will be guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and producer Steve Oliver. Known for his soulful singing, snappy guitar lines and playful vocalese, Oliver’s playing style has resonated with audiences and musicians alike.

Saxophonist, composer, and arranger, Jackiem Joyner joins Simpson and Oliver onstage. Joyner brings a contemporary soulful sax sound that is influenced from spending his youth playing in the gospel churches of Virginia.

Concerts are held on the Vineyard Stage, with plenty of lawn seating. Gates open at 12:00pm, show starts at 2:00pm.
