Schooner Red & Schooner White are tributes to the Hazlitt family's love of quality wine, spirit of exploration, and forward thinking.
The sailing ship pictured on both bottles, the schooner When & If, was originally built for General George S. Patton in 1939. Over the last few years Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards co-owner Doug Hazlitt has lovingly restored the 75-year-old boat to her original glory. When & If is now ready to set sail and pursue her legacy of plying the world's seas in search of inspiration and innovative ideas. The vessel's continuing quest for adventure has inspired Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards to create these remarkable international blends, bringing together delicious fruits of emerging new world wine regions.
