Once such talent is Patrick Higgins, Executive Chef at Glenora Wine Cellars’ Veraisons Restaurant, who recently joined Kae Lani Palmisano, Host of WHYY-TV's Check, Please! Philly, for a live cooking demonstration that explored local ingredients, including LocalCoho salmon, which is sustainably raised in the Finger Lakes region.
Patrick and Kae Lani discussed what to look for in fresh ingredients, how each ingredient is best used, kitchen tips and tricks, and what the Finger Lakes Wine Country brings to the table during this engaging and fun cooking demonstration.
