WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (January 7, 2016) – The Seneca Lake Wine Trail proudly presents its 2016 schedule of events, including two brand new single-day events, Red Red Wine on March 5 and Veggies & Varietals on May 7.
Each event is crafted to highlight the food-friendliness of Trail members' cool-climate wines. Past event recipes range from Penne Rosé Pasta and Peppered Beef with Red Wine & Chocolate Sauce to Peach & Mango Riesling Soup, Gouda Cheese Fondue with Riesling, and Grilled Chicken Drumsticks with Cabernet BBQ Sauce.
Red Red Wine, one of the Trail's two new events, embraces the many terrific red wines the Finger Lakes region is rapidly becoming better known for, while Veggies & Varietals focuses on the increasing popularity of vegetarian dishes.
Guests check in at their chosen starting winery to pick up their ticket and gift item, then enjoy a self-guided tour around beautiful Seneca Lake during single or 2-1/2 day events.
