Finger Lakes Wine Country’s Twitter Taste Live Returns

On March 31 Taste and Tweet with Five Leading Finger Lakes Pinot Noir Producers

Finger Lakes Wine Country, NY (March 19, 2010) – Finger Lakes Wine Country Tourism Marketing Association is pleased to host its third Twitter Taste Live wine tasting event with a special Pinot Noir focus on Wednesday, March 31 at 8:00PM. Each month, Finger Lakes Wine Country focuses its TTL (Twitter Taste Live) event on a wine variety that flourishes in the Finger Lakes. To date in 2010, these Twitter tasting events at www.tastelive.com/fingerlakeswinecountry have featured Cabernet Francs and sparkling wines tasted by wine bloggers from Florida, California, Massachusetts, and New York and all are moderated by Lenn Thompson, editor and publisher of the New York Cork Report.

A winemaker or winery representative from five of the leading Pinot Noir producing wineries will be tweeting from The Cellar, a wine and tapas bar located at 21 West Market Street, Corning, NY from 7:30 – 9:30PM on March 31. There is no cost to participate in the tasting and conversation on Twitter. Just log-in using your Twitter profile at www.tastelive.com/fingerlakeswinecountry and use #flxwine throughout the event. The public is also invited to The Cellar on the evening of March 31 to taste these wines and to meet the winemakers and winery representatives in-person. The wines can also be purchased from each participating winery or through Bacchus House Wines in Rochester, NY at 866-901-3336. These Finger Lakes Pinot Noir producers will be participating and tweeting during the evening of March 31 with the following wines:

Atwater – 2007 Pinot Noir poured by winemaker, Vinny Aliperti
Ravines – 2007 Pinot Noir poured by co-owner, Lisa Hallgren
