Whether you’ve been coming to Finger Lakes Wine Country for years and years or this is your first trip, hold on to your hats because we’ve opened the doors to accommodations, attractions, and wineries, to bring you
exclusive experiences like none other. Here’s how it works… simply stay three consecutive nights (Sunday-Thursday) with a participating accommodation, book their Summer Stay & See package, and upon check-in receive the Finger Lakes Wine Country Summer 2010 Experience Passport. The passport enables you to experience events and happenings that in most cases are not made available to the general public – we’re talking about private winery tours, barrel tastings, dinner served by a celebrity chef, a private curator’s tour of an art gallery, a unique astronomer’s tour of the night skies, and much, much more. The offerings are valid June 1-September 9, 2010. Check this Web site often, as we continue to add more accommodations and exclusive experiences offerings.

WineriesAnthony Road Wine Company - Come in on Tuesdays 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and tour our facility with a member of our wine-making team or the winery owners. You'll also enjoy a special tasting in our garden, weather permitting. Reservations are required. Please call 800-559-2182. Valid on Tuesdays from June 1-September 7.
Cascata Winery - On Mondays and Fridays, starting at 5 p.m., stop by for a $7 wine and cheese pairing. Reservations required and are refundable if canceled by 3 p.m. the day of tasting.
Dr. Frank's Vinifera Wine Cellars - Receive a free logo glass with any two bottle wine purchase. Excludes other discounts and programs. Only available in store.
Finger Lakes Distilling - Receive a private tasting and tour of our facility with the master distiller Thomas Earl or distillery president Brian McKenzie. Valid Wednesdays at 1 p.m. Cost is $10 per person.
Fox Run Vineyards - Stop in for a Wine Wednesday Educational Tour! Each Wednesday at 5 p.m. during the summer, follow the knowledgeable staff from the tasting room through the vineyards, and up to the winemaking facility for a one-of-a-kind experience.
Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards - Receive a midweek VIP tour! Each Wednesday (June 2-September 1) from 1-5 p.m., visitors to the Hazlitt Tasting Room can be upgraded to a complimentary facility tour and comprehensive wine tasting. Advanced reservations only. Call 607-546-WINE at least one week prior to visit.
Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard - On Tuesdays (June-September), receive a reserve tasting experience with the winemaker or winery owner.
Heron Hill Winery - Come to Heron Hill Winery on Keuka Lake, Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. -1 p.m., for an exclusive Dessert Wine Tasting in the View Tower! Sample four premier Dessert Wines in Heron Hill's Tower -- some of the area's most impressive views of the vineyards and Keuka Lake can be seen from this tower. Reservations necessary, weather permitting.
Hunt Country Vineyards - Relax on our deck overlooking the beautiful Keuka Lake Valley and enjoy a complimentary wine tasting, including our celebrated Ice Wine and other rare varietals. Then stretch your legs with a private winery tour. Here we'll explain the major steps we take to produce fine wines, showing you up-close the equipment and facilities used. Keuka Spring Vineyards - Receive a free wineglass with a $25+ wine purchase.
Kings Garden Vineyards - Late Afternoon on the Deck tasting is available on Thursdays from 4-5 p.m. and includes featured local food items from Finger Lakes food artisans paired with Kings Garden Vineyards wine on the outdoor deck overlooking the majestic backdrop of Seneca Lake (weather permitting). Includes a Late Afternoon on the Deck private wine tasting with the owners/winemakers at Kings Garden Vineyards located on the northeast side of Seneca Lake. Wine and food selected by Kings Garden Vineyards owner Corinne Oleksyn.
Lakewood Vineyards - Offering a private facility tour and a special "select tasting" in our barrel room. Offer valid on Wednesdays from 10-11 a.m. Appointments necessary.
Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars - Receive a complimentary wine tasting, to include much sought after wines like Reserve, Ice, and Sparkling varietals -- a $9 value.
Lucas Vineyards - Presenting a Symphony of Wine, Cheese and Chocolate. Four Lucas wines will be paired with 2 local cheeses and 2 locally made chocolates. Join us Monday through Thursday, from 12-4 for a unique and delicious Finger Lakes experience. Please call 24 hours in advance to reserve the Symphony tasting. $5 per person.
Ravines Wine Cellars - Receive a private tasting of Ravines wines and savor the flavor of local artisan cheeses on a private terrace overlooking Keuka Lake. Valid any day of the week. Cost is $10/couple. Reservations required. Call 607-292-7007.
Red Newt Cellars - Is offering the "Experience Tasting" on Wednesday nights from 6-7 p.m. We will feature specially selected wines, paired with light hor d'oeuvres. Rooster Hill - Toast Tuesdays with Rooster Hill on the east side of Keuka Lake! At Noon, on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays during July and August, stop by Rooster Hill and enjoy a stroll through the beautiful vineyards where you will learn about canopy management, trellis systems, crop size, leaf pulling and more. Enjoy a private tasting on the creek stone terrace overlooking beautiful Keuka Lake and get a crash course on evaluating and tasting wine. Learn what the 5 “S’s” (see, sniff, swirl, swallow and spit) are all about. You will quickly learn how to navigate wine speak and will be ready to act as a wine connoisseur at your next dinner party. Drink in the view as you sample the latest vintages with an assortment of local gourmet cheeses from Yancy Fancy and local gourmet mustards from Nunda Mustards. Cost per person: $15. Sheldrake Point- The tasting room at Sheldrake Point will host Dessert and Ice wine tasting for guests who book the Summer Stay & See package. Taste our Late Harvest Riesling, lce Apple Splash, Cabernet Franc Ice wine, and Riesling Ice Wine one-on-one with our tasting room staff.
Six Mile Creek Vineyard - Receive a complimentary tasting of wines & spirits with locally made cheese and crackers, followed by a winery tour. Valid Mondays between 2-4 p.m.
Three Brothers Winery - Offering a sample of our unreleased Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 Estate Reserve -- a special treat considering only 14 cases were produced! Please call ahead for reserved tasting.
Ventosa Vineyards - During regular business hours, receive a VIP tour and tasting – including a special barrel tasting. Reservations are required. Suzanne Fine Regional Cuisine - Impress your special someone with a romantic afternoon in our rose-encircled gazebo that’s nestled alongside our private pond. Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel Blue Pointe Grille - Enjoy a private dinner and Finger Lakes wine tasting served by NBC celebrity Chef Fred. Chef Fred has been the celebrity chef for NBC for over six years. He is also currently the director of Food and Beverage for the Harbor Hotel. Chef Fred has served celebrities such as Hillary Clinton, Angelina Jolie, Bill Cosby, and Tommy Hilfiger and his family. Let the next celebrity he serves be you! Experience Passport Information
Summer Stay & See experiences are subject to change without notice. To qualify for the experience passport, you must stay three consecutive mid-week (Sun-Thurs) nights and request the Summer Stay & See package with a participating accommodation. Some experience passport participants require advance reservations. In these instances, guests are required to communicate directly with the business to make their own reservations.
