The Wine Barrel

At The Wine Barrel, we turn newly retired white oak wine barrels into beautiful, handcrafted furniture and accessories. Although most of the barrels were made in France, we purchase them from the numerous wineries here in upstate New York. After the wineries use the barrels for five years, they are retired, and the winery starts over with another new barrel. By turning the retired barrels into furniture, we make sure that the magnificent French wood does not go to waste.

Another major part of our expanding business is Custom Made Furniture. Our local craftsmen will custom design quality indoor and outdoor furniture to your exact specifications, using your choice of new or recycled wood. Whether finished with stains and varnishes or with milk paint like the old Colonial or Shaker furniture, we offer quick turnaround and high quality construction at a competitive price point.
