The Crafting Cottage

The Crafting Cottage first opened its doors out in East Corning, NY on Route 352 in May of 2003. Offering crafters unique supplies and classes for rubber stamping, card-making and scrapbooking, it soon became a favorite destination for crafters. Over the course of several years, the shop kept expanding to accommodate larger classes and more products including beads. The beads soon needed their own space and that is when The Crafting Cottage purchased a building on Market Street in 2006 to house all the beads and a mini-version of The Crafting Cottage's other offerings of craft supplies and their custom designed and printed invitations and personal stationery services. Since then, The Crafting Cottage has expanded to Market Street big time, culminating in finally finding a home big enough to accommodate everything: the beads, the rubber stamps, scrapbooking supplies, paper goods, custom designing services and have more than enough room to offer large classes and events! Additionally, The Crafting Cottage added a whole new venture to compliment their professional custom-designed invitation business; The Venue, which is an intimate reception room located on the second floor of 32 East Market Street. This beautiful room with exposed brick, dance floor and more is available for rent and can accommodate up to 150 guests.
