Horseheads Brewing broke ground in June 2006 and opened its doors for business on July 3, 2007. The Master Brewer, after "home-brewing" for 8 years, received his education and certificate of concise brewing technology from the Siebel Institute in Chicago. Their beers are brewed using the four basic ingredients that constitute the German Purity Law: water, hops, malt and yeast. Their hand-crafted beers use only the freshest quality ingredients making for exceptionally fresh, pure and delicious beers. As fall approaches, look for their pumpkin ale that will be ready in September.
