The walls of this B&B echo the history of the area. The house was built with bricks from a local brewery in 1920 on the site once occupied by the Glen Park Hotel. Each room carries a different theme where local artwork & photography capture the wildlife and the waterfalls in the Watkins Glen Gorge, combine the beautiful waters of Seneca Lake and the historic village of Watkins Glen, as well as, the Finger Lakes vineyards. The stairway and upstairs hallway take you back in time as they are lined with the owner’s collection of posters of Vintage Racing in the Glen. Only one block walk to Watkins Glen State Park entrance, four miles to the Watkins Glen International race track and within walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants, marinas and Seneca Lake.
Centrally located to the wineries, The Corning Glass Museum, Elmira and Ithaca. Guests enjoy a delicious homemade breakfast of freshly ground coffee, teas, hot cocoa, fresh homemade pastries which include kuchens, muffins and breads, along with juice, fruit and a different hot entrée in the formal dining room each morning. Come see what everyone is talking about when experiencing one of Barbara’s fantastic breakfasts.
