The Arcangeli Farm (Country Critters) has been in operation since 1958. This is a large farm (200 acres) is located in the Finger Lakes Region. John and Marge Arcangeli are owners/operators of the farm. Born and raised in the area -- John being in farming since he owned the farm in 1958 has a passion to see the farm expand and grow and Marge, although working full time at Cornell University, enjoys the many visitors to the farm. The many visitors to the farm over the years has expanded into an Agritourism venture. The farm is a beef operation with many unusual pets and roadways throughout to allow visitors to drive through or stop and visit. Our first vacation away from the farm after the children were grown was to Missouri to an Exotic Animal Auction -- we returned with Llamas, emu, sheep, and reindeer. Then our animals just seemed to make the tour of the farm much more exciting for visitors; both young and young at heart. Arcangeli Farm offers a setting for birthday parties; reunions, and school groups by appointment. Special tours along with wagon rides and pony rides are also available by appointment. Tour Hours: Weekends Only Saturday 1-6pm Sunday 1-6pm Groups: By appointment.
