Come to Finger Lakes Wine Country this summer on a memorable wine adventure "in search of the perfect rosé" at one of the over 100 wineries in the region. Rosés are light, refreshing, and range in style from sweet to dry. These wines are perfect for summer enjoyment and we want you to help us find the perfect rosé.

From May 23 - August 31 visit the wineries in Finger Lakes Wine Country "in search of the perfect rosé." We want to hear from you and what you think is the perfect rosé of the Finger Lakes.   Click here for a PDF list of the rosé producers in the Finger Lakes and the names of the specific wines.




Submit a video, photos, and a short paragraph about your "search of the perfect rosé." Tell us where you went and about the people you met along the way. Share your pictures and videos of your roadtrip on the "In Search of the Perfect Rosé" event page.

The rosé wine that receives the most mentions on the "In Search of the Perfect Rosé" event page will receive the "perfect rosé award" and the winning fan submission will receive a case (12 bottles) of his/her favorite Finger Lakes rosé. DEADLINE TO SUBMIT IS SEPTEMBER 15, 2009.

Think of "In Search of the Perfect Rosé" as a treasure hunt throughout Wine Country:

1.) Stop at as many wineries as possible (making sure you have a designated driver).
2.) Taste the winery's rosé (blush) wine(s). 
3.) Take notes, pictures, videos at each stop.
4.) Post updates of your visits on the fanpage.
5.) Choose your favorite rosé from all that you taste and post this wine on the event page by September 15.

When you want to give your palate a break you can visit The Corning Museum of Glass, Rockwell Museum of Western Art, Arnot Art Museum, Mark Twain's Study, Watkins Glen State Park, or take a cruise aboard the Esperanza Rose to fully enjoy a Summer of Glass in Finger Lakes Wine Country.
