More Information

The origin of marbling traces back to the 12th century in Japan. The first forms of Japanese marbling were called Suminagashi, or “ink floating”. Marbling is the art of delicate, swirled patterns where colors of ink are floated on the surface of the water.

In this workshop we will be working with nail polish to create the marbling effect. You choose two colors, lay the color on water, swirl and dip. Practice first with a cardstock cuff to understand the process and effect. When your ready, dip your brass cuff and create a one of a kind statement jewelry piece.

For ages 6+. Cuffs are standard size and can be adjusted by bending to fit prior to dipping. Brass cuff takes a minimum of 30-45 minutes to dry, you are more than welcome to pick up your jewelry at a later time or day.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS RECOMMENDED. Limited supplies available, drop-ins welcome on a first come, first serve basis. Register at
