- March 22, 2019 to March 22, 2019
We last featured the Dallas Brass in 1994. This popular group employs a unique blend of traditional brass instruments and percussion to offer an extraordinary range of musical experiences. The Brass’s repertoire includes classical masterpieces, Dixieland, swing, Broadway, Hollywood, and patriotic music. (The group’s founder says, “Our ideal audience has a range in ages from 5 to 95!”) The Brass have performed at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center, appeared with major symphony orchestras, and toured in Europe and the Far East. They have shared the stage with the late Bob Hope and performed for Presidents Ford and George HW Bush. The group will also be doing an in-school program for us with a local high school band which will make a guest appearance at our concert.
