Time to put some boots on the ground and see some birds in those boxes! Join Elaine for a walk around our field to see our boxes and a crash-course in how we monitor our boxes and record data. Elaine will interpret bluebird behavior and share some of their conservation challenges. BYO binoculars! To register, please visit: . Expect to walk over rough field/unmown meadow terrain for 30-45 minutes. Wear boots and apply insect repellent.

Nine miles of scenic trails in the Finger Lakes area that begin at the Nature Center allow you to experience the natural beauty of the Chemung Valley first-hand. Tanglewood is the local leader in environmental education; serving over 14,000 children in the Southern Tier of NY and the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania. We offer programs that include live animal presentations, outdoor experiences and hands-on activities. Our programs include school field trips, scouting groups, spring and summer camps and weekend activities for children.
