So much more than lectures! As the crisp fall air settles into Corning, it’s the perfect time to plan a trip and immerse yourself in the world of Tiffany’s Glass Mosaics . Our 56th annual Seminar on Glass is a powerhouse roster of scholars who will present an in-depth look into the artistry and innovation that was the hallmark of Louis C. Tiffany’s studios. Nowhere else will you find such a comprehensive assemblage of Tiffany scholars, researchers, and enthusiasts. More than just lectures, Seminar is an event where like-minded individuals come together to share knowledge, stories, and insights all weekend long. You can also take time to tour Tiffany mosaics in their original buildings in the surrounding New York State, and sign up for a mosaic workshop in our Studio . With so much to enjoy, this year’s Seminar is not to be missed.

From children looking for an adventure to artists looking for inspiration, there’s something for everyone at The Corning Museum of Glass. Explore 3,500 years of glassmaking history in the world’s largest collection of glass, featuring 45,000 pieces of classic and contemporary glass art. At the Hot Glass Show, watch live, narrated, glassmaking demonstrations, and see master glassblowers create stunning pieces before your eyes. Flameworking, Optical Fiber, and Glassbreaking Demos are also offered throughout the day. The only thing better than watching the wonder of glassmaking is trying it yourself! Make Your Own Glass in short, daily workshops: choose from fused picture frames and suncatchers, sandblasted drinking glasses, flameworked beads, pulled-glass flowers or delicate blown ornaments. Get hands-on with the science of glass at Do It! stations in the Innovation Center. Best of all, kids and teens 17 and under are free; adult admission is $19.50. AAA/CAA, Military, Student, and 55+ receive a 15% discount. Local residents receive a 50% discount. Open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. From Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, the Museum is open until 8:00 pm.
