The Corning Museum of Glass is celebrating 60 years in 2011.  The big birthday bash will be Thursday, May 18th and the Museum will offer free admission all day (kids and teens 19 years and under are free everyday). In addition to enjoying free admission, visitors can take special tours, see special live glass shows, and enjoy free cupcakes - and who doesn't love a free cupcake! To make thinsg extra special they're offering a special vase as an option for the make your own glass workshops too. Things kick off tomorrow morning with a classic car parade to the museum. Also get the first look at the new exhibit opening tomorrow, Mt. Washington and Pairpoint: American Glass from the Gilded Age to the Roaring Twenties. See you there!
