WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (January 27, 2016) – Sahlen Packing Company, Inc. and Watkins Glen International have announced a multi-year renewal of the Western New York-based company’s sponsorship of the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship event.

Sahlen’s is the longest-running entitlement sponsorship at The Glen, with 2016 marking the partnership’s 14th year. With the renewal, the Watkins Glen International Tailgate Zone areas will be re-named the Sahlen’s Tailgate Zone area for the track’s NASCAR weekend, with updated signage and branding. The tailgate zones are reserved weekend trackside infield sites located between turns one and two. Ten (10) tailgate zone admission wristbands are included with each site.

The IMSA WeatherTech United SportsCar Championship returns to Watkins Glen International June 30-July 3, 2016. Ticket renewals are ongoing for past customers, with public sales set to begin shortly with additional announcements coming shortly.
