WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (April 21, 2015) – If you haven’t already, it’s time to block out your summer calendar for a weekend of wine, food, friends and fun at the 20th anniversary Finger Lakes Wine Festival presented by Yancey’s Fancy New York’s Artisan Cheese.

From July 15-17, Watkins Glen International will transform into a festival of more than 90 New York wineries, in addition to musicians, regional chefs, food purveyors, craft vendors and visitors from around the United States.

The festival was established at the New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY and was taken over by Watkins Glen International in 1996. Since then, the event has grown into the East Coast’s largest event focusing on New York State wines, crafts, and cuisine and is a five-time recipient of the American Bus Association’s Top 100 event designation.

“The Finger Lakes Wine Festival has become one of the most recognized events of its kind on the East Coast,” said Watkins Glen International President Michael Printup. “Seeing the weekend grow over the past twenty years with big crowds, new wineries, and additional vendors has been great. The event has really turned into a staple on the Watkins Glen International schedule. We can’t wait to celebrate this July.”

This year’s Finger Lakes Wine Festival kicks off on Friday, July 15 with the Yancey’s Fancy Launch of The Lakes party. This opening night event features an opportunity to win a variety of prizes in the toga contest, and two individuals will also be crowned as the 2016 King and Queen of the Finger Lakes Wine Festival. Tickets start at $20 for this unique evening of live music, wine tasting previews, and more.
